We have an immediate need for a Relay Settings Engineer with experience in the protection and control of electrical networks. We are addressing the challenges of today and tomorrow on topics such as the high penetration of DERs, the transition to IEC 61850, grid analytics, SMU applications, fire risk mitigation, compliance, and continued AMI deployments, as well as other grid modernization topics.
This is an important technical position within Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) and is reserved for people with technical skills and the ability to support projects. At QISG, Engineers of all levels are encouraged to start building a strong industry presence and aim at becoming recognized experts in their area in the future.
Working Conditions
Working conditions are typical of a professional office environment. When working in field or laboratory settings, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and completion of additional safety training may be required. The role may involve lifting and carrying equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
