To enhance the workflow and efficiency of the Radiology Department, the as-needed Reading Room Assistant will facilitate communication between radiologists and healthcare providers, manage patient information, and support various administrative tasks in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Assist with communication regarding order changes, results, and protocols between radiologists and referring providers Serve as a central point of communication for radiologists, filtering calls and minimizing interruptions Support radiologist scheduling and assist with educational activities, including Tumor Board preparation and physician onboarding Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience in a related field Familiarity with PHI and HIPAA organizational policies and guidelines Ability to manage administrative tasks effectively Strong organizational skills for coordinating various departmental activities
