Security AgentA Security Agent at The Sagamore Resort is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and property. This role requires a professional presence, strong guest service skills, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations while upholding the resort’s standards of excellence, discretion, and hospitality.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Provide a visible security presence throughout the resort property, including patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and docksGreet and assist guests in a courteous, professional manner while maintaining security awarenessMonitor and control access to resort facilities as requiredRespond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and guest or employee concernsComplete detailed incident reports, daily logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely mannerEnforce resort policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful approachCoordinate with resort departments to support special events, VIP arrivals, and large guest functionsAssist with lost and found procedures and documentationMonitor surveillance systems and report suspicious or unsafe activityProvide first response assistance when necessary and contact emergency services as appropriateMaintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all timesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredNYS Guard Card (preferred)Prior security, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to remain calm and professionalAttention to detail and strong observational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to patrol large resort grounds, both indoors and outdoorsJob Type : Full-time or Part TimeCompensation : From $18.00 per hourBenefits :Free meals for break periodDiscounts at Opal Collection ResortsSpa & Retail Discounts24/7 Fitness Center AccessFull time benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule :8 hour shiftMorning shifts, with nights as needed
