Schedule: Full-time shift accountability for patient care delivery in a long-term acute care hospital setting with telemetry monitoring

Highlights

• Provide specialized care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and continuous monitoring
• Work with patients requiring ventilator management and tracheostomy care in a critical care environment
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to lead shift operations and delegate care appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain and advance clinical competencies through continuing education opportunities
• Exercise nursing process in accordance with state regulations and evidence-based practice standards

Requirements

• Active Indiana Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Telemetry and/or LTAC nursing in a hospital setting
• Demonstrated competency with ventilator management and tracheostomy care
• Strong leadership, delegation, and supervision skills
• Critical thinking abilities and sound clinical judgment in complex patient care situations
